This is the official NCARA Club Logo.  The design was created by our club members so we could have official club shirts made for us to wear during official club events.

  • Annual "Beat the Street for Little Feet" bicycle rally
  • QSO with Santa, giving children an opportunity to talk to Santa on the ham radio!
  • National Night Out, supporting our local emergency responders
  • we support local events by having a booth to raise awareness and educate the general public on the importance of amateur radio and the role it plays when communication is needed.

Skywarn:  Our effort with Skywarn is organized through the National Weather Service (NWS) program of trained volunteer severe weather spotters.  Skywarn volunteers support their local community and government by providing the NWS with timely and accurate severe weather reports. These reports, when integrated with modern NWS technology, are used to inform communities of the proper actions to take as severe weather threatens.
